Replace 1070? (3440x1440 100Hz)

Seen prices of some recent Gpus so not really looking forward to this thread.

Moving to the above monitor set up. Not had anything over 60hz panel before and old monitor was 2560*1440

So a pixel and refresh rate hike.

What's a decent upgrade to 1070? Perfectly happy to go used

1080Ti / 5700XT / 2070 Super, or above.

Using a 2070 Super at that res + Hz, handles it fine.

I'm running a 1070 at that rez and it's still capable, Gysnc helps a lot in this regard.

I do limit it to 60Hz however.

SWBF2, for instance with everything maxed runs mostly at 50-60 fps.

I'd personally (and I am) wait for the 3 series to arrive.

Would totally not recommend buying into the 2 series at this late stage.

However, if you really need/want 100fps, then an overpriced 2070is your best bet (for Gsync).

As others have said, Im using a 1080ti at that res, Gsync too, no problems at all, so a 2070 Super or a 1080ti will do the trick effortless !

The 2070 are ridiculous. Nearly s much s the screen!

I’d wait, at the very least the new cards will push down the values of the older ones.
