MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon - BIOS and RAID help

PM'ed.

Edit: Sorry, wrong topic :)

Is Ryzen Master installed?

Also, what is your power plan in windows?
I am using Ryzen Balanced.
Same problems with Ryzen Master installed and not installed

Also have another problem :(

USB sticks - I am unable to copy or transfer anything to them. The sticks work perfectly in other machines, and using front panel connectors or the back panel motherboard connectors yields the same result. I can see the files, as soon as I attempt to start copying the files the stick disappears from This PC and I get a USB malfunction error message in windows.

Regarding the BIOS, I have this issue.

snip*

The date goes backwards - not really sure what to do here...

The latest BIOS sounds good as the POST time etc is a little slow on the board at the minute, but for the moment I have the previous 20-09 BIOS installed

I think it's just that the build date in the screenshots is US format; the 'latest' BIOS you have listed is version .1B0, which was November, with the other being .1A0, September (although it's weird that the build date is 4 days after release!).

Or I'm completely missing the point!

I think I need a proper facepalm momonet :( Thanks for pointing that out....

RE: this USB issue. Interestingly it doesn't happen in safe mode....

Hmm.. I will need to find another drive to do this with. Do you have any ideas why safe mode would allow the USB to function normally?

For the thread...

I have found that my fan monitoring software 'Argus Monitor' is causing this USB issue. I disabled all startup programs, and as soon as I launch Argus I get this odd behaviour.

Thanks
