B450 Tomahawk Max. XMP 1 or 2?

I have 2 XMP options on my b450 tomahawk Max bios. Which one should I be using? My ram is 2 X 16gb ddr4 3200mhz

It will say just below the XMP select setting in the bios, it will say which profile is fastest, Profile 1 will probably be something like 3200mhz CL16 or whatever your ram is, and Profile 2 will be something like 3000mhz, select which is fastest.

That's correct, my board has 2 profiles... One is a profile for 2666mhz and Profile 2 is for 2993mhz.. So you just select which one you want

Both of my profiles are the same, but im not using XMP, ive dialled all my settings in manually, 1.45v CL16

Gen 1 Zen is a bit funny with 3200 ram that isn't b-die. Sometimes zen+ can have a weak IMC as well. So there's often a second XMP profile with a lower speed like 2933 for compatibility. Try the 3200 profile and fall back if it doesn't boot or you have stability problems.
Or for best results, learn to use the ryzen ram calculator and input the values manually.
