Cant get this to install since moving over to win10 from 7. It complains some .CFG file is missing ?

Any experience/fixes ?. Running the program or desktop shortcut as admin doesnt help.

All versions of C++ installed, most already there. Still no good.

I gave up and tried the Heaven install. Worked fine till clicking the desktop link, something flashes on the screen then nothing !

Ideas ?, had no problem under Win7 !

I notice both seem to rely upon bat files to launch.

Update.....

Seems my win10 account has issues with .bat files after upgrade from win7...

Using 'open powershell window here' in the .bat location....

"valley.bat : The term 'valley.bat' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable
program. Check the spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try again.
At line:1 char:1
+ valley.bat

+ CategoryInfo : ObjectNotFound: (valley.bat:String) [], CommandNotFoundException
+ FullyQualifiedErrorId : CommandNotFoundException
Suggestion [3,General]: The command valley.bat was not found, but does exist in the current location. Windows PowerShell does not load commands from the current location by default. If you trust this command, instead type: ".\valley.bat". See "get-help about_Command_Precedence" for more details.
PS C:\Program Files (x86)\Unigine\Valley Benchmark 1.0>"

I edited the .bat file and added 'pause' on the end, still a window flashes up and vanishes !

Also trying to run cmd.exe from the windows start button results in the same flash on the screen and nothing !?

I created a test account and VIOLA, cmd runs as does Valley. Back to my account, added syswow64 to the environment variables path and rebooted. Still nothing but a flash on the screen.

FIXED - Using two YouTube video's as the first made my PC boot to a black screen and .cmd prompt after logon !!. Now I can run .cmd and valley again.
