It's time for me to replace my trusty mx518. I've had this mouse for more then 10+ years
Scrolling wheel no longer works. Ideally would prefer to keep my mx518 as i just know, no other mouse will come close to it.

So what's available these days? Budget is around £40-£50. Needs to be a similar form factor of mx518.

Lol MX518 Legendary!? only £50, updated MX518 with hero 16k sensor released 2019.

Deathadder V2 if you fancy something different and like bigger mice like the MX518

PC Gaming race model D if you have big hands, Model O if you don't.

I like the shape but somthing looks really cheap about these, that scroll wheel, looks like a £10 mouse and countless reports of the cable disconnecting. Not a £50 mouse IMO.

Ive had the DA v2 for a few days, I like nearly everything about it, shape, weight, cable is amazing its like its not there, side grips are lovely but it feels too soft to use. People say its mushy but that doesnt explain what its like. The clicks have almost no travel and are very fast but just feel so soft its not satisfying to me, I need that tight trigger feeling. Shame because its banging otherwise, one other thing I don't like is you have to put up with the colours going mental all day and not switching off at idle if you uninstall the software and the hypershift feature I planned to use is a modifier and can't be toggled so pointless having it, thats only reason I bought a mouse with extra button over the majority of proper gaming mice.

there was an issue with early Glorious mice models with the cable but this has now been resolved.

Ah ok fair enough, is the wheel rubber or plastic? I do like the shape, was tempted but went for the Kain 120, luxury, cable was better on DAv2 but the clicks and the wheel is pure posh and everything can be saved to profile including lighting, unlike the Dav2. Really nice coating too a joy to use, on reflection the rubber grips on the DA felt a bit like holding a sponge and the dips on the M1/M2 made me palm it instead of usual grip.
