Sorry another pickup picture but I gave it a quick clean earlier - sadly sun mostly behind cloud when I was done.

Maybe I'm having a mid-life crisis but something I find satisfying about owning a V6 pickup - shame there aren't many good options currently with the newer ones it is mostly 2.xL 4 pots that are being pushed to the max or the odd ~5L V8 which I'm in no hurry to buy.

I had a go at the alloys and running board with the power washer but it barely made a dent - same with the roof bars and tonneau. TBH it will be covered in mud again in no time anyhow.

20r/15f spacers on now.. going to get 25 rear and put the 20 on the front soon! height wise I think it'll stay where is, doesn't get beached on anything bar the biggest speedbumps and still drives good.

no plans to turbo it or anything, it's my daily driver and to be fair I'll probably leave it very basic and reliable.

It looks good from a distance but upper panels are tired.. sun has done it's job on the bonnet, roof and boot. Would ideally need a respray. Rest is really good condition for the age just cosmetics. Thanks

Ah I thought so. Paint problems are par for the course with older JDM stuff unfortunately, strong sun over there takes it's toll. My Mark X has not such great paint on the bonnet and roof even after it's already been repainted once. Roof on the Silvia had been repainted already when I got it, I've since had that repainted again too.

Probably not a popular choice, but I love my CRV.

We've had it for 8 years now, put over 120k miles on it since we bought it, and its become a part of the family! Got another CRV as my commute car, but its not as special as this one.

Still cleans up ok
