Oh I'm not being derisive mate; just curious. I've often had to run without a fan or two for clearance, and I'm a big proponent of the moar rads movement

To be frank I don't think it's overkill, the rad space and push/pull means you can keep fan speeds low.
Slowly putting together my next build and it's going to have at least 2x 360 + 240, and dual D5s in series. So I won't be throwing any stones
Is the Swiftech off normally, and just there for redundancy? (I thought it was a no-no to run two different pumps in the same loop)
It looks dope, is it all built into the rad? Any more pics of it?
Oh I didn't think you were being derisory mate so no worries there
Not having the top fan on the 480mm rad
Allows filling into the swiftech as well as into the bottom ek res/pump combo
Being able to top fill means mavity helps you out and can release air bubbles easier as got a pressure equaliser/release valve at top of loop
Plus when draining opening that top release valve means no air locks
No problem at all running both the pumps
Done it for many years
But have also tested with either pump disabled and either pump on its own works fine so if 1 fails redundancy works great
The pump is at the rear of the reservoir so not technically in the rad
Long time ago asetek sued swiftech for having the pump in the block
So far as I am aware swiftech was the first AIO company to move the pump up to the radiator end to avoid asetek patent infringement
Think that ones the 3rd series swiftech and the premium version means proper g1/4 fittings not plastic barbs, noise blocker eloop fans and some other stuff
Picked it up for a steal on ebay as lot of
People aren't aware of swiftech
Guy bought it never used it and I won it for 40 quid
Felt sorry for the seller to be honest
Though great bargain for me
Might have some photos of it on my pc somewhere will have a look in a bit
Swiftech is hard to get in the uk but it's quality components in it unlike corsair etc
Though more AIO are slowly starting to use better components now
Big advantage is swiftech is expandable
So great way to start off with watercooling and then move forwards
Just finished a pc going to sell with much simpler loop
That's a version 2 swiftech 280mm
Expanded to cool a 7700k and a gtx1070
No 2nd pump or other rads
I love swiftech stuff lol
It's a shame outside the USA they haven't made it big with their stuff to be honest
