What TV shows are you currently watching

The Tick S1 and S2 - 6/10

Interesting idea, some laughs, but sort of lost it's way - too much talking and not much superhero stuff, especially in S2.

Was hoping for a Flag 5 final battle, but we never really got to see their powers in action, more just eating crosissants in the HQ :D And Bronzestar, we never once saw him action - i have no idea what his power is!

I know they were building up to S3 before it got cancelled, but meh.
 
Having started listening to 'The Darkest Timeline' podcast, It's got me watching through Community (now on Netflix) again. Man it's a great show...

I've also started watching 'Travelers' on Netflix due to a couple of recommendations and a high IMDb rating. Seems okay, albeit a little simple/overly dramatic writing at times. Nicely shot though.

Loved Travelers - did start becoming 'villain of the week' at times, but i enjoyed the show and they got to wrap it up before cancelled. A bit similar to Fringe in some aspects and i preferred Fringe.
 
Finished the first season of Dark and rather enjoyed it, quite compelling at times. On with the next.

I certainly wasn't expecting that end to the first season. T'was a pretty darn good end to the first chapter, IMO. :)
 
Finished season 2 of Manifest tonight. I've struggled to get into the show in places but the last episode has caught my interest again lol

Watched all of White lines over the weekend, really enjoyed it and look forward to another season

Now need to find another show (or actually finish the ones I've started)

Dark is fantastic. Season 2 is actually better than the first surprisingly.

Definitely go straight into season 2 though, or you'll forget the complexities of it and have to watch the first one again :p
 
Just started watching 'McMillion$' on the new Sky Documentaries channel.

It's all about a massive fraud operation inside McDonalds that was tipped off to the FBI in America around their monopoly promotions. It's utterly crazy!

Put together very well.
 
Watched the first episode of Space Force on Netflix to see if it was as bad as people say. It was not very good at all, doubt I'll give it another go.

Wasn't great, but a few good moments and i'll try the next episode - especially from some of the comments here saying that it picks up.
 
Watched 2 eps of Space Force... not great, verging on bad, but I think it's only 10 x 30 mins, so I'll probably see it through at this point.

Just watched the episode of Travelers where there's a highly contagious pandemic outbreak... kinda weird to watch at this time.
 
Started watching Ozark but not sure if I can be arsed. It’s ‘gritty’ right from the get go sure but in many ways a very silly set up that in some ways get sillier, at least from watching the first several episodes.

Those that like the tension in Breaking Bad might like it but it sort of just jumps ‘straight in’ to knife edge high stakes and I can’t suspend my disbelieve.
 
Just finished watching the four part, Unorthodox, with the missus : https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9815454/

"The series follows a young woman brought up in an ultra-Orthodox community in Brooklyn's Williamsburg district who strikes out for Berlin, leaving behind an arranged marriage and tight-knit faith community in part to pursue her goal discovering her path."

I doubt I would have watched it on my own as I'm really not into anything religious at all. A bit of an oddity but it came across as an honest portrayal of this sort of community and the lead role was very well done. If you're after something you wouldn't normally think of watching, this could be it.
 
Invasion. Appears to be a tv take on the body snatchers, very mysterious, nothing sinister as yet like the other takes on it.
 
Planet Earth II - always said I wasn't going to watch this until I had a 4k TV and well, finally have one as of a month ago. 4 episodes in of 6 I believe it is.

Just looks stunning, not sure what else to say that folks won't already know as it's such a high profile series.
