Hi all

This morning my GPU arrived, I managed to fit it in the ITX case, Didn't realise the height of the card :p It's huuuuge :p

I have downloaded AMD Radeon software as i always do, One thing i realised while having one quick game on PUBG, The GPU Usage seems to always be at 90% or more and the fans only spinning at around 55-60% but it seems to be very loud, i turned down the in games settings to HIGH from Ultra which dropped the Usage down to mid 80's at times but still the fans stayed the same... Temps seem pretty good for a GPU this size in the ITX case, Top temp reading was 61'c

As soon as i close the game down the fans go to very low RPM which is impressive.

Any advice on tuning the fan speed or is it the way it has to be?

Play with a custom fan curve in MSI Afterburner and maybe undervolt.

An undervolt might even give you some performance gains funnily enough.

OK bud I was trying the fan curve in AMD software but I'll pull up MSI afterburner... Cheers
 
Is it a 2.5 slot card? You mint find that it’s choking from a lack of airflow, hence the higher fan speeds. Having said that, your temps seem quite low.

Is there a silent mode for it?

Yeah exactly the issue I had in the past with the AMD software resetting the settings I made... Just done afterburner and fired up a game and the fans seem to do as I set so all looking good, cheers for your help mate

It's atleast a 2 slot card, I took it out the box and was like hmmmm will it fit, lucky it's a couple of mm of the PSU shroud but that has air holes in which probably helps and the fact I have a SFX power supply leaves a little room for both GPU and PSU to breaghe.. All I've seen is the Zero RPM mode which I've enabled
