Isn't it annoying when you put everything away and get cleaned up only to find you missed a bit. Didn't we have a thread about trimming your own hair , i can't find it?

I thought there was one going back years , maybe i was mistaking the manly shaving thread.
Ahh possibly, I think I remember that one. Wasn't it or didn't it develop into more of a products thread. There was a show us your beards one as well I remember. :D

Very true , the topic is misleading as i meant a quick all over with a electric trimmer rather than going for a full pitbull look. :)

I just use a razor in the shower now as I became so lazy that even the process of getting hair clippers out was too much effort.

As you say, I was always missing bits with hair clippers, it's much easier to run your hand over your head in the shower to feel for the missed bits

I use a razor in the shower, my other half then sends me back in the bathroom after she points out all the bits I've somehow missed :o

i used to use a double edge razor, it was smooth but took far too long. I know have one of those skull shavers (silver) and i can shave my entire head in about 2 minutes its great. Obviously not as smooth as a razor but the baby smoothness is gone by the evening for me anyway so no point chasing it.

I have a simple No2 all over from a set of Remington Ceramic clippers I've got. Been doing it myself for so long that it's extremely quick and easy for me to do but I also have quite fine hair which also makes it easier too.

I bought my first set of those clippers probably more than 10 years ago (maybe even 15 years ago?) and have only just replaced them about a year ago with another set of the same - Cost about £60-70 each so call it £150 (worst case) for at least 10 years of haircuts which I think has been great VFM.

Of course if I had any hair worth styling I'd never have bought a set :D
