I was going to wait for the next gen cards but i just got my VR headset and its epic! I now really need something a little bit beefier than my RX580 4gb to make the most of it until the next gens arrive. So far the best i can spot seems to be the RTX 2060 but maybe somebody more clued up with the current generation of cards can pick something better?

There seems to be a few 2060s for around £300-£320 any idea which one is the best if i was to go for one of those?

Like i say if anybody can recommend a better card for the price please do, have no preference on AMD or NVIDIA.

I'd highly recommend the MSI GPU above, I had it and it was solid, its a bit chunky but in an MATX or ATX case it will be fine...

I've bought plenty of B grade GPU's before and never had any issues so don't hesitate if your thinking of going that route :)

Dam, i think the width of the msi is going to be a problem, My xonar essence st sound card only just fits next to my RX580 and thats
4.3 cm wide and the msi is 5.8cm, i don't think it will fit :(

Hmm just tried the onboard audio on my asus mobo, doesn't sound too bad actually through my ultrasone pro 900's, i'm surprised!, i think i could possibly live without the sound card until i do a full new build later this year after all, brb need to go and listen to a few tunes before i can be sure.

Found one on ebay for a fiver thanks! Will make an offer now in the customer service area for the msi card.

Got it for £300 happy enough with that tbh :D, Thanks for the heads up though, never even knew they took offers on here lol, almost pulled the trigger on a 2060 this morning on amazon, this looks like its a nice upgrade from that.

Tho if u want some more advice i would say check see if your motherboard has any new bios, consider maybe updating it to latest, just some problems might come from old bios's with new cards, u can never tell tbh. Also chipset drivers, make sure there up to date too.

Does anyone know what the situation is regarding the manufacturer warranty on B stock products? Was interested but OC say they can't confirm anything beyond the 90 days they're offering, which means there'd be no cover guaranteed beyond that.
