How often do you guys clean out your PC case?

What do you use on tempered glass? I’ve got my first tempered glass side and front panels and they are dust and fingerprint magnets. Do you use standard cleaning products or something dedicated? Micro fibre cloth?

I asked this same question a few weeks back... On the glass I used glass cleaner and a microfiber cloth, inside I used a can of air but tbh my build never really got to dusty inside.

yeah same here glass cleaner and microfibre cloth
how often to clean it depends on your environment like
it is very dusty etc
me i have a huge pet hair in my pcs problem

I've got a couple of different sizes of paintbrushes for when I want to clean out mine, Always find I can be a little more thorough than compressed air. They're also indefinitely reusable.

As said though, Microfibre cloth and water / glass cleaner for any windows.

how tabby got in through the psu hole is beyond me
hes not a small cat by any means
he doesnt even like boxes lol so no idea why he went in there
those are 180mm fans/fan grilles hes standing on to give
a bit of size comparison
the young black and white ones here for fostering for a while
due to unforeseen problems his owners having
hes an absolute nightmare for cable ties, wires, watercooling tubing
and god knows what else
only got to put it down turn your back and hes gone with it lol
amount of times i have sat scratching my head thinking i am sure i put
that down there a minute ago before realising hes done a runner with it lol

I use a Datavac and a paintbrush for general cleaning. It's not often necessary. I've yet to have to clean a window panel beyond a quick wipe. For my flat's glass windows I use Fairy Liquid & water followed by vinegar.

My current case has dust filters but on my old cases I use to take my pc outside and use hair dryer on cold setting, great way to get all the dust out and never had a problem.

They'd make a fortune!

Always good to hear of people fostering cats, I would myself but unfortunately I live in a 12th floor flat so it's pretty much impossible for me.
luckily he had actually never been outdoors before
was only 14 weeks old when he came here
but the owners situation is complicated so hes been here a long while
if he had been used to going out i wouldnt have agreed to foster him
as keeping an outdoor cat in wouldnt be fair
i bought some flat cats---no thats not a type of cat lol
they go on the windows so you can have them open if you have cats
so he cant jump out

He's a lovely little guy!

I've no idea how I could possibly cat-proof my windows were I to take some in. I've seen a few cases where people have kept cats in the block I'm in where they've jumped out of the windows and died, scares me a little to be honest. If I was to keep or foster cats I'd be sure they were house cats, life expectancy rises by such a margin and as long as you give them a good amount of space and plenty of attention they're still happy.

Basically it's a fibre glass coated mesh
Very sticky velcro strips go on the window
Frame
The mesh has a wide border of the other half of the velcro hoop and loop on it
You just stick them on
They really do grip well and as a bonus keep insects out too
Got mine in grey as for whatever reason the cats saw grey as a barrier more than white ones
Both cats immediately realised it was a barrier but they could still feel the breeze and Sniff the outdoors smells
They both love it
And means I won't suffocate in summer too as can now open windows without
Worrying about the cats. :):):):)

That's awesome!

I live alone in a large two bedroom place, so I could more or less dedicate a room to the cats, and I do mean cats as I'd get at least two so they could keep each other company.

If you know someone with a sewing machine you can actually make your own
All the needed parts are available on ebay
Neither cat has even attempted to test what it is they just immediately assumed its an uncrossable barrier lo
I thought the kitten might have tried to push it or climb on it but nope
I reckon a decent size cat say 5kg or so could climb up it with no issues
As the mesh is fibreglass it's pretty claw resistant
And the velcro really does grip hard
To open /close the window you just peel off the velcro from the bottom corner
Then stick it back after
Really don't regret getting them
Would have been distraught if the foster
Kitten jumped out and got hurt or lost

I've always used a selection of different sized paint brushes and the vacuum cleaner, however it can be time consuming.
In order to save time, I have just bought an air compressor - it is situated in the garage and I am currently installing the plumbing to give me a 10 bar outlet near my PC work desk.

this turned in to a cats in pc's thread lol
i've found a spider living in my case once
