HI Guys,

I am about to take the plunge in to a Phanteks's Elite and whilst all the other components are falling in to place the confusion around which bloody ARGB fans work with which systems, controllers, connectors is simply confusing the hell outta me.

Thats why I posted this here and not in cooling or cases as there is more chance that one of you chaps can suggest a high static pressure fan that works with the Phanteks ecosystem?

I really do not want to have multiple different fan hubs all over the place for the RGB part. I would ideally like to carry on using my Aquaero 5 or 6 for the actual speed control of the fans but control all the ARGB stuff centrally and with the minimum of full and cables. I have a few Aqua computer Splitty 0;s lying about to splitting the PWM is not an issue from the Aquaero.

I am working on 10x120mm as a minimum amount.

Any and all suggestions welcome

Andy

I went for https://uk.thermaltake.com/pure-12-argb-sync-radiator-fan-tt-premium-edition-3-fan-pack.html as there isn't that many fan options that provide fully separate argb and pwm cables. The Termaltake does so I have all the PWM fan cables routed to the top of the case attached to splitters and all the argb cables routed to the bottom where they are linked to each other... My one comment is that they have a tendency to be blue rather than white so may not be what you want - £14 a fan was rich enough for me though.

Be warned you will end up trying to find space for a lot of spare cable lengths.

Stick with the Aquacomputer stuff, I'd say. The Splitty 4 will do NZXT and Corsair fans, or you can swap to their Farbwerk and a few adapters for any fans that use a standard ARGB connector.
Run it all through the Aquaero or Aquasuite and you're sorted.
