Most irritating comments on cars

Having just watched a video that said this - thought I'd ask what others think.

"It's a race car for the road" In fact I think 'race car' in general sounds a bit lame like someone saying d-JAY.


What's your most irritating comment people make about cars?
 
'power doesn't matter, torque is the only thing that's important'

mostly heard from vRS TDI owners when trying to explain how their 185BHP car is actually just as fast as the 230+BHP petrol models because it has a peak torque figure about 20lb-ft higher.
 
"Power is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you move the wall"

"Handles like its on rails" or any other locomotive related simile.

"Stage [x] modifications"
 
God, there are so many that I really hate.
The aforementioned "Stage X item" just strikes me as really stupid. Who defined the stages?

"Like a rally car for the road" - So, stripped out completely and with a full roll cage is it?
"I'd love the AMG C63 but I need the economy that the C220D offers" - You mean, you'd love a C63 but can't afford to buy one.
"It's so smooth and quiet" - When talking about any 4-pot diesel
"I really needed something that's cheaper to tax" - You can't do basic maths
"My god, how much does it cost to fill that up?" - Yes, because the size of the fuel tank is an excellent metric of the running costs of a car.
"It's the S-line/AMG-line/M-sport version so is much quicker than the normal ones" - It's actually probably slower due to all the stick-on tat
"I don't see the point in random driver assistance or comfort feature" - You don't have this on your car
"I don't like leather seats" - You don't have these in your car
"It's a baby nice car that I can't afford" - It really isn't
"They're just a car from another brand that shares nothing in common with the car in question" - You're a moron
"My mate knows about cars and he says they're unreliable/slow/crap/a nightmare/fall to pieces" - Your mate doesn't exist. You just don't like that particular car.
"It's so small I can park it wherever I like" - No you can't. You still have to obey traffic laws.
"It can out strip a various performance cars up to 30/40/50/off the lights" - Your 320d cannot do this.
"I wanted something sporty" - So you bought a generic hatchback with big alloys?
"It nips through traffic" - Unless it's a motorbike it sits in traffic the same as any other car
