Even then bottas has to get by, but it’s his only hope. The gap is falling, but not quickly.

I want to see what Hamilton can do on softs.

Yawn...seeing all cars up to p4 get lapped is impressive as a technical achievement but I watch f1 for the drama and close battles. If the season carries on like this may give 2021 a miss and come back for rules changes in 2022 in the hope somebody has pulled their bloody finger out to give us some close racing.

There's always one team that has the fastest car, and they usually get the fastest driver in that seat. It might be another team next time the rules change (remember when it was Red Bull four years in a row), but I wouldn't bet against Mercedes again arriving to new rules with the best car and driver. It's really not their fault that the other teams are just not doing a good enough job. You would at least expect the likes of Ferrari or Red Bull to be able to put up some resistance, but they are just not good enough.
