Peugeot RCZ or VW Scirocco or ...

Is electric and sporty also at opposite ends? ;)

Yes. A fast 0-60 time doesn't make a car 'sporty'.
Look at how quickly 'influencers' got tired of posting Model S drag videos and realised they're left with a mediocre business saloon.

Then switch to making youtube videos trying to justify their purchase in other ways :D

The RS6 is also fast, but it's far from sporty.

I might be missing something here, but expecting to cover 20k miles in 3 years, but wants a diesel?

Seems pointless.

Running costs extend beyond MPG.

not coupes but what about a golf GTD or Focus ST TDCI

I'm doing near 20k a year quite happily in the focus at the moment.

20k per year in the OP.

That review I think must have killed TT sales. And it's all so opinionated and negative. I mean - he's even doing his best to criticise a DSG gearbox 'because it's boring'?

And the lap time. 0.2 seconds behind a Lotus Esprit V8, faster than an R32. Hardly pedestrian. And they suggest an RX8 or a Chrysler Crossfire as a better alternative. :p
