I am looking to upgrade my system, I had posted previously but some things went astray.

My current aged system is a AMD Radeon HD 7800 2bg series GFX, Asus MOBO and an AMD (FX) 8120 Eight core with 8 GB ram.

Info

Useage wise World of Warcraft. Sims 3, Sims 4, Civ 6, General browsing, Work etc

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £1,014.09 (includes shipping: £13.20)

Alternatively I was thinking swap the SSD for a gen 3 NVME Drive and the RX Pulse for a 1660 Super and the 450 instead of the 550

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £924.09 (includes shipping: £13.20)

I think my main questions and ideas for pointers are:

SSD vs NVme G3 - as far as I can tell no real difference in terms of gameplay
RX Pulse which was my original choice - I have always like AMD or the 1660 Super which ive seen reccommended on here a lot - pros and cons - alternatives?
Also would the PSU be big enough?
450 vs 550 - Better support and chipsets?

I am open to tweaks / ideas and suggestions please £900-1000 Ideally - Thank You

The RTX 2060 is more closely aligned with the RX 5600 XT than the 1660 Super. £270 is way too much to pay for this, should be closer to £200 than £300.

As NVMe drive WD Blue SN550 smashes that in performance potential and even withotu that it's grossly brand overpriced for level worser QLC Flash than TLC Flash.

And with only basic 5 year warranty and just all around average that BeQuiet is also somewhat brand overpriced.

Here's 10 year warranty PSU:

550W is enough for even step higher level graphics cards than those.

You’re not far off, I’d go for something like this...

You could get the B450 mobo and save £60. But the B550 has PCIe 4 and just a bit more future proof. Both should support the new Zen 3 CPUs though I believe. But B550 is a guarantee it will.

Case is personal preference. You just want something that’s solid build quality, has good airflow and able to cable manage well in. That Lian Li is well regarded and new out so just an idea.
