Hey guys, I just made my purchase with Overclockers for my new system so I'm looking to get rid of my current one (I'll probably just put it on eBay/Facebook Marketplace, I'm not desparately in need of selling - just won't be used otherwise).

Is this worth selling? And how much do you think it'd be worth? It runs most games still in Medium / 60 FPS, and boots up instantly - no issues with anything on windows at all really.

Specs;

Case: Corsair Spec-03 Compact Gaming Case - Red LED.
CPU: Intel® Core™i5 Quad Core Processor i5-4690K (3.5GHz) 6MB Cache (on Turbo to 4.3ghz)
Cooler: Noctua NH-D15S Ultra Quiet Performance CPU Cooler
GPU: 4GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 970 - DVI, HDMI, mDP - 3D Vision Ready
PSU: CORSAIR 550W VS SERIES™ VS-550 POWER SUPPLY
MB: ASUS® Z97-P: ATX, LG1150, USB 3.0, SATA 6GBs
RAM: 16GB HyperX FURY DUAL-DDR3 1600MHz (2 x 8GB) @ 1866Mhz
SSD: 120GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD, SATA 6Gb/s (upto 540MB/sR | 520MB/sW)
HDD: 1TB 3.5" SATA-III 6GB/s HDD 7200RPM 32MB CACHE (might keep for the new one)
Windows 10 - Home
Dvd / Wifi Card

Best advice is to clean it, and when I say clean I mean like new. Or stick it in a cheap but new case full of RGB fans etc. and sell the old case on it's own.

You have a machine that ticks all the boxes for an entry in to the gaming PC market, £300 would be easy from Gumtree or Faceache.

Yeah I’ll give it a good clean and fully format everything before selling anyways £300 sounds good to me anyways, better than just letting it sit in a corner haha. I don’t really wanna take everything apart though for the other option, but I guess I’ll consider it when cleaning.

I find it's far too much hassle to be selling off old parts, just keep them and nick parts when needed or make a second system in the event your main one has a fault (Unless you really do need the money to purchase the new one).

I regretted dumping my old one when my new(ish) one broke down on me, and that's when you start overpaying to get a new PC ASAP.

Last 2 PCs I've just sold locally - one to a family friend and the other through Facebook as a complete system. No problems

Yeah I'd agree with Journey on the price, should expect £300 for that easily enough.

Haha yeah I get you, I'm just moving into a smaller flat and don't have as much storage space - so I'm looking to be minimalistic basically, selling off or giving away most of my old stuff - just don't want it in storage anymore collecting dust. I paid for my new one already though just waiting for the building process now. :)

Yeah that's sweet, gonna give it a good clean once my new one comes and is set up and then I'll throw this onto Facebook/Local Sites.
