NVIDIA ‘Ampere’ 8nm Graphics Cards

Why TF are you sitting 30cm away from a display as large as that?

Probably exaggerating a bit. When racing it’s right up to the back of my wheel base.

when flying I leave a bit of space for my keyboard then sit normally at my desk.

can’t do tiny monitors anymore, my 27” that I sometimes use seems pathetic compared to the immersion of a big screen right up to your face.

I guess VR shouldn’t be doing 1:1 so close to your eyeballs if I’m going to go blind.

Too good to be true?

WOW IF 'SOMEONE' SAID IT THEN IT MUST BE TRUE!

Well, every other rumour has it's share of die hard believers on here so might as well add to the potion, see what kind of magic spell we end up with come launch time :p

Let's not forget that Nvidia pushed the boat out with pricing the RTX 2000 series higher than any previous generation, plus Jensen recently claimed a new mining boom was starting to happen.

This sets consumers up for accepting the next price hike, at least in Jensen's head :D

Well, if you know which specific bits don't make sense then start with those?
The 2070s replacement ( 3060ti ? 3060? ) has more ram than the 2080s replacement (3070s 3070?)
notice how that raised more questions within my answer to your question, plus the initial question i posed.

Also the board names that no one has ever mentioned before...
Also the extra skus that replace the same card twice....

Thats enough to get started on..

16GB and 10GB cards probably just in the wrong order in that picture. Crippling the 3070 with 10GB of VRAM is a scumbag move though, assuming it's priced as per the 2070 was on release.

Because you don't need a huge screen / res to enjoy the game.

Most phone resolutions are stupidly large for such a small screen. It's just marketing.
There are many things we don't need to enjoy games but people still go out and buy them, so i don't think your reasoning works in practise.
