Hi Guys,

Looking for recommendations for a system up to £600.00 for gaming.

I don't require a case, drives, cooler or PSU as already have these. The PSU being bought in the last year.

Usually play BDL3, currently using a dated RTX 550 which I bought last year on an i3 6100 which works but ideally want to play in high settings now and not sacrifice making do on lower settings.

Title mistake, looking for a new machine*

Thanks for any help.

What resolution/refresh rate do you game at?

Do you have an SSD or just HDD's?

What is the exact model of your PSU?

What case are you using? Your case might limit the form factor motherboards we can suggest.

1080p on 60hz. Will look to upgrade the monitor later this year to a 1080p 144Hz screen.

I have SSDs and HDDs so ok for drives.

PSU I have is the be quiet System Power 9 600W.

Thanks

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £610.96 (includes shipping: £0.00)

I'm not sure what RAM you're running, if it's 16GB of DDR4 running at 3000mhz + you could just reuse it.

Perfect thanks for that I will check that out.

Running slower ram than that currently so will need to upgrade to new 16GB.

Gray2233 Good pick or..:

MSI b450m Mortar max for £99.95 very good and guaranteed for the 4000 ryzens.
And a RADEON RX 5600 XT for £260 which I believe is a faster card than the 1660 super.

There will be absolutely no difference to your gaming frames/performance at all with this mobo at £55 less and it takes your price down to I think just under the £600 mark and you'll have increased graphics performance!
:)

As I say Gray2233 good pick , I just I can see a better deal here for the OP.

Thanks for that also considered the B450 route with a better GPU. Would you consider the RTX 2060 over the RX 5600 XT if similar in price? I've got the vouchers for the auction place and can bring it down to around £240 for the 2060.

Nope, they offer about the same performance varying slightly by game. I'd be saving those vouchers for something else. If the vouchers can make a 5700XT an acceptable price then that's a decent jump in performance comparable to a 2070 super.
