The photo locations thread - Where do you like to take pictures of your car?

Picking up on an old thread from 2008 where unfortunately most of the image links are broken now!

Thought this would be an interesting thread for people who, like me, can never find anywhere nice to take the car for a photo.

Where do you like to take pictures of your car?

From car parks, to scenic spots!

KFC Newhaven:

Tesco Durrington:

Brighton Marina:

Devils Dyke:

Bramber Ruin:

Beaulieu grounds:

Worthing seafront:

Anywhere when its snowing:

Tree lined roads (near Devils Dyke):

Abandoned buildings (Cement Works Shoreham):

Petrol stations (Arundel/Shoreham):

Generally I just use my drive

There is a retail car park near work that would make for some great shots at night though.

Acme since you appear to be a Sussex resident then Falmer Pond by the Amex is quite a nice spot on a quiet day. The Cement Works is a good shout, I’ll have to remember that one.

Cement works is heavy with security, be careful. I'm not even sure how I managed to drive a car straight in...

It makes sense given there are a lot of businesses in there. It’s been years since I’ve been down there but maybe I’ll leave it a few more years then.

My photos are generally pretty pants but the locations are pretty good, especially if someone can actually work a camera.

Wales - Brecon

Scotland - Road to Skye

Scotland - Highlands (somewhere, although mostly anywhere is good)

Scotland - Kylesku Bridge

Dorset Coast - Lulworth Cove

I'm very lucky in living in Snowdonia so you're kind of falling over photogenic spots here and regularly used to see the magazines doing shoots around here, i always liked the old aluminium works in Dolgarrog. It's since been turned into Surf Snowdonia or whatever its called now with the biggest artificial waves in Europe i believe.

Turns out last time i took any pictures of cars was before i started using google photos in 2011 so i can't find any of the pics around the evo triangle etc must be called getting old and boring.
