If it makes you feel better. But United had Ferdinand, Vidic, Berbatov, Rafael, Carrick and Valencia missing from what you'd probably consider their strongest line up that season.
No but hes a lot better then what Arsenal have in midfield.

Plus arsenal don't hold the same statue as Barcelona! So for Barcelona to get smashed 8:2 on basically a full strength side is way way more embarrassing

Seriously? Coutinho is superior to any midfielder you have. Significantly so tbh.

I think the issue with him is that he'd disrupt the balance. He's a "genuine" number 10 and his kind of player is becoming fewer and farther between because they aren't as effective at working back (although Coutinho does more than eg Ozil). All the top teams play 3 proper midfielders, either sitting or box to box, with three outright front men ahead. Coutinho doesn't fit into either of those boxes - he can't play up top and isn't a winger, but doesn't have enough about him for central midfield.
He's a fantastic player, but his position means that, given how the game is currently played, he's going to be used heavily off the bench to impact matches because he doesn't fulfill a suitable role for most teams. And then you get into the question of whether he's worth the money he'd demand to play that role.
How am I always slating Arsenal? Coutinho is a far better player then what Arsenal have. I have criticised Arsenals signings previously yea...i said they were bang average and wouldnt improve Arsenal.
Where did you finish again?
I think Sakas one of the best young players in the world if that helps you mate.
On Phil I would doesnt suit how we play and would warm the bench. I wouldnt want to hinder Jones' progress either.

You always do. You have never ever gave props to anything related to arsenal, ever.
Arsenal do have average players and coutinho wouldn't improve us if ever as his type of play doesn't work in the modern day of football as manic said.
Arsenal need better defenders first and foremost, it's been proven since arteta came in that when we actually to defend well we care capable of beating or at least competing with some of the top teams
So when i say I rate Saka highly that isnt giving Arsenal props?
Suggesting that Coutinho would improve Arsenal is highly criticising them lol. Hed improve any squad in the league.
