As rock z68 motherboard

should the asrock z68 extreme4 gen3 work with 6tb hard drives as im having issues installing one

wont allow me to bring it online in disk managerment and wont find it in run command prompt diskpart

is the drive 'recognised 8n the bios ?

Have you set the drive to ahci mode.

thanks for the reply how do iset the drive to ahci mode never done that so far...will look in bios.. disk management see the drive and the size but wont let me bring it online

ok had a look and yes got 6 drives installed currently and was increasing capacity by swapping a 1tb drive for a 6tb.. othwer drives are 3 or 4 tb.. alos have two icy boxes for hot swapping drives

In disk management create new volume.
