1994 BMW E34 540I/6

I must admit that your dedication and determination to a not-quite-an-M-car BMW is second to none. Screw all the naysayers, this is a fantastic project :)

Have some inspiration :D

It is always worth it because it is the more "run of the mill" models which don't get appreciated until its almost too late for them to be saved.

Update
(20/6/2015)

BK35093 was now road legal and with only two Advisory's ... So not that bad now.

003 Exhaust noisy
004 Oil leak

BK35093 enjoyed her cruise down to Castle Combe and even had her driving
Miss Daisy moment around Castle Combe track. What will no service records
We did not risk over working the TBL until her fluids have been changed.

Two cheeky photos from Castle Combe Classic Retro & Kit

This was when we thought about the under body finished with the derusting and the under body paint work done ... Which would lead to the interior looking like a normal BMW again.

Update
(24/6/2015)

this update saw the start of the under body clean,de rust and repaint.

we started on the drivers front arch removing any local rust patches and loose stone guard.

Its a must to check the stone guard as this stuff hides the bloody rust, so well

Update
(25/6/2015)

The underbody clean and de rust continues with the passenger front arch receiving

some tlc and a nice few coats of fresh paint

All for this week comments welcome still much more to come :D

Bit of a thread bump to say: Loving your work....

Daniel

Thread has gone the way of the Dodo, like 90% of project threads that I start following. :p

Starts to get interesting and then -poof- it ends and the last date is several years in the past.

It's not as if your E30 thread is progressing much quicker ;) Some of us want to see that finished too!
