The current Titan RTX is $2500 anyway. And despite the "I get the best at any price" and "Gotta pay to play" rationalizations surrounding the 2080Ti, I don't think many e-ballers are rocking them. (Titans)

I want to see how much money it will take to run my driving sims on high settings in my Reverb. (I suspect I won't need a 2k card to get that job done)

If you read the article that this article copies itself from ( https://www.techpowerup.com/271081/...0-pricing-to-arrive-around-the-usd-2-000-mark ) if you can call it that with all the disclaimers it shoves down your throat it talks about high end OC AIB 3090 cards and then corrects it's self from $2000 to $1730 mid article but keeps the clickbait title, The guru3D article just edits that omission out.

Anyone who honestly thinks there isn't a VERY realistic chance the 3090 will be £2K+ obviously hasn't been paying attention the past few years. It's far more likely than not at this point.

Yea, I really do not get why people keep thinking it will be that price. Just does not make any sense on any level and that is me taking into account Nvidia being Nvidia. Now Titan I can believe. There will be a thread for the titan here, inside there will be at most Kaapstad and a handful of other owners of it. Lol.

3070 at £500-600 will sell like hot cakes if the traditional performance is within 10% of the 2080Ti and has much faster RT performance.

Even the 3080 at £800 will get a very large owners club here
