Gigabyte and Asrock have one, don't know if you can buy them yet. No point waiting for Asus because it'll costs a bazillion dollars for no reason.Yeah waiting on the ITX boards really, the B550 ITX are silly money for SFF type builds.
similar for sure & not much cheaper. I'm expecting the Gigabyte ITX to be around the £100 markSo they're basically B450 re-released with overclocking locked.
Think its just no PBO actually! you can still undervolt and the chip still has boost behaviour.Presumably the boost capability of the Ryzen chips is unaffected by this not supporting overclocking?
Thanks.Think its just no PBO actually! you can still undervolt and the chip still has boost behaviour.
I just want a reasonably priced Mini-ITX.
Some ppl want Gen4. Also, dont forget the boost performance is limited by VRM and CPU temperatures so you might find that the same CPU could boost further on a higher spec board. (not something we've tested yet)Well I just don't see what could go wrong buying these vs. X570 etc. for a mid-range build with one or two SSDs.
Ok understood. So if the performance improvement from Gen 4 and superior VRMs is marginal with say a Ryzen 4700 and a 3070, the A520 could be a great budget proposition. Some ppl want Gen4. Also, dont forget the boost performance is limited by VRM and CPU temperatures so you might find that the same CPU could boost further on a higher spec board. (not something we've tested yet)
I don't think there's anybody who can tell you this for at least another month or two.the performance improvement from Gen 4 ....and a 3070
Gigabyte boards are also accepting 3000G series APU's at the moment apparently, so there might be some real bargains to be had at A520.
Seen some posts of gigabyte A520 boards running 3000 CPU's on Reddit, don't have personal experience though. If it's true, it's going to be unofficial support. Are you sure as i've been reading the complete opposite?
