Ryzen 3300 or 3600?

Ah my bad, merely saw the OP.

Went for an excellent build in the end.

Apart from the case apparently

Bit surprised at that for 70 quid, for that price I'd expect some level of quality. I know it's not expensive either, but it isn't a 30-40 quid case.

I'm surprised some what the cooler master haf is a beast of a case . Think it was about £70 when released 10 years ago.

Likewise, its not bargain basement, but its really is poorly designed. The bottom are where the psu is supposed to go is half blocked off by HDD bays, so i had to shoehorn the PSU in, god knows whats happening to them cables. Ha;f way through I got so fed up I tried to transplant it into my CM case, but that has no dust filters and the MB risers nubbins looked to have fused with the screws holding the old MB in place. In the end I manged to get it all up and running. Once installed it does look nice with the flashy lights, but what a palava. I havent even tried to enable the RGB for the fans had enough..

I managed to come across this review for it
. Think once i get the new GFX card I'll transplant into a Fractal/Lian case.

The HDD bays.. Can't you remove them for the fitting of the PSU and then keep them out /put one back once you have the PSU installed and all leads routed?

Possibly, but they are kind of 'riveted' in place. I'd need to butcher it. I did so much research and reading up on the MB/CPU and memory. I totally neglected the case part. Lesson learnt. Anyways, its up an running temps are ok, in the mid to low 40's at idle.. Whilst playing Warzone CPU is usually at 60 degs.

Yeah I noticed the riveting after looking at the manual for your case.
So you plugged the psu cables in before sliding the psu into the case? The cables are now squashed? Just interested in how you did it mate.

Yep plugged all the cables into the PSU, then came to fitting it. Just had to wiggle and bend the cables enough to get the whole unit in. Oh and the SSD bracket on the inside of the case, also badly designed. The Sata power cables that come with PSU all have somewhat of a right angle between connector and cable. So u cant plug the power cable as the SDD plate that screws to the case ends up being about 5mm from the main plate that the MB attaches to.

I cant place the MB because the back fan is blocking it from fitting.

How is that a really problem? Almost every case that come with a fan fitted in that position, out of the box, will have to be removed to put the motherboard in.

Compared to my Cooler Master HAF - it looks positively flimsy.
That's like saying a old Yugo looks flmisy compared to my Challenger II though. :p

Little bit of context, its been 11 years since i built a PC, so yeah I was bit hasty re the fan. Indeed I did have to unscrew it and then screw it back on after MB was installed. The HAF i bought was about~£70 back then, and well, its the only case I can compare this one too. Build difference and quality is night n day.
