i don't really rate Bottas too much though, he's not in my list of top 5 drivers anyway
my top 5 in no particular order, Lewis, Max, Charles, Danny ric, Alonso and/or Seb but i'm not sure Seb's heart is in it so much these days

Mazepin now under investigation for his post race antics. Had a paddy on the podium too. Supposed to be perfecting his craft before his dad buys him an F1 seat but he doesn't seem to be learning at all. Have to thank Stroll for blocking the Force India route.

I don't particularly rate Bottas overall, but he's impressive in Qualifying. He beat Hamilton in quali 7 times last year. Against a driver like Lewis that's a decent showing.

That was a crazy fast lap from Hamilton. People used to say it took guts to take Eau Rouge, Raidillon and Blanchimont flat but now he's taking those easy flat along with most of the middle section too; turn 10, Pouhon and the exit of Les Fagnes (13).

I thought the video was out of sync at first, but this one isn't. At least not by much compared to the usual standard, anyway.

I didn’t think he’d improve on his first lap, both were flawless. He gets better and better. Looking back through F1 reviews you can see how he has learnt from each of his skilled teammates.

Bottas really isn't that bad, but jesus christ does Hamilton make him look distinctly average. Another level.

The Merc higher downforce should also allow them to protect their tyres better in section 2 and may give them a tactical advantage, especially if Max or Daniel get the jump in the first sector.

No real rain forcasted until after the race, it can be quite changable at Spa but i'd go into it expecting a dry race

Looks quite overcast for F3 at the moment; was quite a bit of mist over the trees; probably burn off by the time F1 starts but be nice if there was a chance of changing conditions.

He was given a suspended penalty and a reprimand, and another reprimand for unsafe release.

Won't the Mercs just be sitting ducks on the kemmel straight for the first lap or 2. Lewis is def in for some trouble or whoever survives La Source on the opening lap. Great quali lap though.
