Hello. Today first time something tripped breaker in my house. I mean i was sitting on Windows 10 desktop ,like always and i hear BUM from fuse box. And power go down. Pc turned off.
I have that pc almost 1 year and something like that never happened. I think there was not circuit overload, because all devices was off, like tv,washer etc. Only pc was on. And nothing get damaged. Anybody have clue why it happened?

To turn back power again i change breaker to up of course. And its fine again.

PC:
Aorus AD27QD
AORUS PRO Z390-PRO GAMING
Aorus 2080 Ti waterforce stock
2x16GB DDR4 GSKILL XMP
9700K STOCK
Seasonic TX-750W TITANIUM PLUS PRIME

Never happened with that pc in whole year. Also pc is stable during full load etc.
Today i just browsing internet and power goes down with tripped breaker.
Pc working like before again. Weird any clues?

Or maybe pc is faulty? I mean some part and it caused that once?

All other devices in house was off, like tv,washer, lights.

Somebody said that this is bigger issue , than bad buld ( from reddit ). What he mean?

Also of course burned LED bulb can trip breaker?

If it's the first time it's happened then it's probably just a bad bulb, if it happens again to the same bulb then id start to worry and get an electrician out.

any bad electrics can trip the electric... If you are really worried about external forces causing damage to the PC get an in line surge protector on it.

As above the only way really it's going to be damaged is if you have a

pure chinesium spec PSU

^ i love it btw.. chinesium lol

temperature has changed, looks like we are now moving into Autumn, I tend to find that electric kit goes pop when the seasons change, light bulbs seem to work for ages but going into and out of Summer seems to trigger a lot of failures, anecdotally in years gone by it seemed to kill a lot of PSU's as well. Maybe better quality has reduced that now though.

You will have to wait until it happens again. If you are that worried get a sparky round to do some checks

I am worried if maybe that pc tripped breaker? Something with psu? But now its fine again. So propably that bulb or not?

It will be the bulb, not the pc. Lots of stuff is actually on even if you think its off in a house.

A pc will likely only have issues with things like this if it happens while writing to disk or in the middle of a windows update or something.

I remember only i was quitting a game and was on desktop. After moment "bum" from fuse box and breaker was tripped. After moment i change breaker up and power back. After some time when i was in bathroom i saw that 1 bulb is not lighting. 2 bulbs ok,1 not. ( halogen )

Somebody from reddit say this to me"
You just confirmed your main (not just a circuit breaker) was tripped while using your computer. This should virtually NEVER happen unless you are fully overloading your main breaker (which by your description you are not). Computers and bulbs shouldn't ever blow a main breaker, just the breaker they are on. If your whole house breaker tripped, either something is wired very very wrong in your house and can cause a fire or shock (kill) someone OR your main breaker needs to be replaced which definitely needs an electrician to fix."

That shouldnt trip main breaker ,when bulb get burned. And i am worried. He is right?

Are you sure it's a breaker that tripped and not an RCD? I ask because they look similar and most people don't know the difference. Breakers (MCB) trip when they detect an overcurrent. Each circuit has its own breaker and there will likely be a 100amp isolator trip switch that controls everything. This shouldn't trip if a bulb blows.

However, the RCD monitors the supply and return conductors of a circuit and will trip if it detects an imbalance. Bulbs failing can sometimes cause the RCD to trip, I've seen it happen lots of times.

Each RCD will control several circuits and may be split in the consumer box between upstairs and downstairs.

I ask my mother. She told that 2 breakers went down. 1 one for power for sockets in house,2 for lighting in house. But not main breaker, not that BIG. So its normal?

It's normal if it's an RCD. It's not normal if it triggered the socket's breaker. An RCD trip switch can have control over several seperate breaker circuits such as lights and sockets. if a light bulb fails, it can trip the RCD which cuts power to everything running off that RCD such as sockets. So a failed bulb can trigger the RCD which will cut power to the sockets. Find out what tripped, and check if it has the letters RCD.

Hmm i dont know if that was RCD or MCB?. Just two small breakers goes down. One breaker for power in wall sockets. Second for lightning.
When my mother switch up both breakers, power and lightning back again.
