NVIDIA ‘Ampere’ 8nm Graphics Cards

not really buying those figures just yet the video showing in % and not actual fps and all those games he showed I can play at 4k every thing turned up and buttery smooth. but if the 3080 turns out to be 2080ti killer then that's great half the price twice the performance, mind u price are still absolute crap to start of with but we shall see what happens looking forward to some proper reviews.

Anyone else think that the competitiveness of this generation may well signal that Nvidia know AMD have something that can go toe to toe brewing??

As far as im aware overclockers never sell founders edition. So wait for any pre-order on the nvidia site. Unless you're talking about the partner cards which haven't been announced.
Yes, it was not a founders card. It was a Gigabyte 2080 RTX. On the last launch towards the end of the show he said Pre-Orders available today. Fair enough he did not say that this time round, but he also did not mention partner cards that time either. Shortly after the event ended Overclockers had loads of partner cards up for pre-order that night.

Looks like it will just be a waiting game this time then.

Surprised no one has mentioned how small the PCB is...

looking at a 3080 with full block I reckon its gonna be tiny.
I noticed that and I think that might help out ITX sandwich case builds. A nice EVGA/ASUS/MSI 3080 blower card with a water block is looking very tempting.

I'm going to get the 3090 upgrading from 1080ti playing at 4k with a 4k 120hz gysync TV

So think it be worthwhile going big..

Do we know if 3090 will get aftermarket cards or do I need to go founder?

But I'm betting those AIB cards were launched simultaneously and the details on the manufacturers' websites?

This time there's nothing. The AIBs haven't announced and there are no details on their sites so, until this happens, there's nothing to pre-order.

Very true! Oh well here was me getting excitied thinking i would be popping a pre-order in tonight. :)
