I'm having the exact same issue as the person in this thread https://www.overclockers.co.uk/foru...onstant-red-cpu-light-gigabyts-mobo.18861742/

System has been working for a week without issue. Today it kept hanging intermittently, now it won't post at all and the CPU light stays on.

Also can't seem to enter Q Flash Plus. Not sure if that is a sign...

Specs:

  • NZXT H510 Elite
  • Corsair MP600 Drive
  • AMD 3900XT
  • Gigabyte AMD 5700XT OC Edition
  • Aorus X570 Pro
  • Corsair RM850X.
  • Kraken X63 CPU Cooler with 2 Fans
  • 1 x 140mm Exhaust Fan
  • 1 x 120mm Exhaust Fan

@GIGA-Man, please can you help :)

Try removing cmos/bios battery for at least 10 minutes
If its got dual bios can also try forcing backup bios
Power it off by holding down the power button
Then immediately press power button
I think that's what it is I did a post about it somewhere in here

I think @GIGA-Man most likely been taken up with Nvidia launch . Hopefully this catches their eye as they can keep on top of OCUK

Is the board/CPU within 14 /30 days ?

All picked up on the 24th August. It looks like the Mobo as it just goes straight to that light and nothing else, even the Q Flash Plus which should work without the CPU. I will send both back just in case... It was working fine all work after I built it and then when bank holiday Monday came around for some serious gaming is when it started crashing/hanging and then eventually died.

There seems to have been several people with the same issue on this forum and Reddit, maybe a bad Rev1.0 batch. Really ruined my bank holiday weekend.

Board has been tested and confirmed to be dud. OCUK are going to send a replacement but seems all the Aorus boards are out of stock. It means it could be weeks before I've got a replacement for something I've paid for but barely got to use and may miss the 3090 launch I wanted :(

It's one of those things that happens but not happy. @GIGA-Man anything you can do to help speed up a replacement?
