Need to know the length of the aib cards. At the moment I have a 2080ti ftw3; and the 3090 founders is 15mm longer and wont fit in my case.

Just seen the EK have shown their waterblock for the 3080 & 3090, no confirmation about which specific cards it supports though

Did a search but couldn't find any info. Other than they would be issuing a news letter about the blocks sometime.

These cards look awesome on paper, but I have a horrible feeling I might have to end my ten year mini-itx stint if I want to jump from my 980Ti to a 3000 series. Is it just the 3090 that eats three slots? It's tricky to tell from the shop listing photos.

all custom 3080 cards look triple slot to me
320w is not easy to cool. You should look into watercooling

If you get a 3090 you can probably use it AS the case

12 inch is my limit lol. Im after a 3090. Looks like the Palit 2090 gaming pro is 294mm. Want to see how long the EVGA cards are though.

Eagerly awaiting the watercooled cards myself. And the third party waterblocks. Then I can decide between them or wait for the elusive 3080ti instead.

After what you said I thought I should check. Founders is 285mm which is only 3mm longer than my Vega 56 pulse, and is 13mm narrower (112mm vs 125mm). All good for me
