I have the SSD drives and Windows already, I also have a Gsync monitor.

My power supply will most likely suffice.

But say for example I want the intel i910900k RTX 3080 but fan cooled so I would go for the DEEP COOL Assassin III cooler for the cpu. 3600ddr 32gb ram.

I can't remember but I once watched a linus video about what is the best speed ram to get and I think that it was 3600 over the 4200. FOr what eer reason I can't remember but anyway you get the gist of what I am looking for I think.

I would also be looking at a new motherboard and maybe case aswell.

I am not confident in building myself incase something doesnt work and its easier if someone else builds it and I know I can rely on a local store to do this for me (they order the parts).

Thank you in advance for replies and I will respond too :)

(I may wait until early next year).

Wait till AMD release their cards.

But if you know what you want, as it seems then just go on ocuk and dd them to the basket and it'll give you a rough price.

No need to worry too much about ram speed with Intel. 3200MHz with CAS16 is fine and quite easily available. Very marginal increases with faster / lower latency. AMD is more sensitive.

dark rock 4 pro or Noctua D15 for cooling .

10900k runs so hot overclocked though good 360 AIO/CLC liike Aorus or Eisbaer will do the trick! specially when you've overclocked all 10 cores!

goood pricing at 3600hz at the moment. ram speed not as critical as AMD BUT for Flight Sim it does help! to be honest anything with that game helps!!!

2080S is place holder for 3080... but you get the rough idea on priicing/... at the moment... but depending on the dollor, covid and stock..

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £1,553.05 (includes shipping: £11.10)

That's for AMD CPUs.

Then ask again then: the market is changing rapidly.

Oh I didn't realsie that!

I am really surprised at the price. When I look at the builds it usually comes up to around £2400 So this is really good to know to get a better ideal on the price :) P.S. Perhaps it is because the systems I am looking at have water cooling and already overclocked.

I don't really want to get a water cooled system I would worry about it but I see that you are going to be using a fan cooler for that CPU.

also using 10900k whiich at default speeds is slightly faster but £100 more and overclocks almost the same tto be honest. Resellers like OCUK buy through distributors or direct for a lot cheaper, plus minus VAT and then can make a biit of profit with bundle deals and charging for OC as well as Build .

Please bare in mind. RTX 3000 will sell fast. 3070 and 3080 quickest no doubt ! prices will then increase for supply beiing out weighed by demand . I mean £1200+ 2080 Ti been matched by £500 odd card. and Current 2070S lands you that £500 3070 for the same price!

push 4k+ monitor and can ease off the CPU a little . ryzen/intel 8 core for example

I realised why the cost the added up was a lot more. It was because I chose the 2080ti lol.

I might wait to see what the 3090 will be like compared to the 2080ti but to be honest I will probably buy the best best (hardware-wise) as I want to make a purchase that will last me a long time. Its been four years since I last updated my computer and I'm going to buy a whole new system this time.

I don't want to say what resolution I game at but with the hardware I'm looking at I shouldn't have to upgrade for 8 years after.
