I'm sure I'll be gimping the 3080 am going to buy by putting it in a B450 with a Ryzen 3600 but I plan on upgrading to a new Ryzen, when they are released, or buy a used 3900X and a new Mobo.
Looks like FE is out for me, i liked the look of them but i need 2xhdmi; one for tv and one for vr.
I'll be pairing 3600 with 3080 as well initially, but plan on getting 4000 series 8 core chip upon release.
Same here, but I will get a 4900x 12 core for peanuts once the 5000 Ryzen is outI'll be pairing 3600 with 3080 as well initially, but plan on getting 4000 series 8 core chip upon release.
Any prices yet for the 3080 Hydro Copper or similar?
EK have just announced (3 hours ago) their full cover blocks!

EUR ~130-150
Maybe the triangular cut out on the FE cards isn't reference? How strange.Just seen this but on EK website it says:
Really confused on what is actually a reference card this time? The Founders are the only ones on the Nvidia site and the AIB's all seem to be different sizes?
- This block is made for reference PCB 3080 and 3090 cards. Founders Edition does NOT have a reference PCB.
Ireland and arrived on launch day after preordering. (this was for the 1080ti)
Do you know better, if so please share!![]()
Luckily I bought a wireless adapter for my VR so it won't affect me so I can still keep my TV on the hmdi and my monitor is DPLooks like FE is out for me, i liked the look of them but i need 2xhdmi; one for tv and one for vr.
Not sure if it's been mentioned, but it looks like the usb-c connector has been dropped on the new cards.
I don't think video out throught the USB has ever worked, but having a 10 gbps capable data port does a lot to add to a board's IO capabilities. Especially older boards.
They refused to ship the 2080Ti, or RTX Titan to Ireland last time.
I hope they'll sell me a 3090 this time round.
They have the reference boards for 3080 and 3090 on their config tool. But no blocks linked with them at the moment.Just seen this but on EK website it says:

Sorry I meant it came from Ireland, odd that they wouldn't ship it to you if your already there.
