NVIDIA ‘Ampere’ 8nm Graphics Cards

Indeed. The EKWB site is updating all the time though, so maybe will have enough info in advance to make a choice!
Well thus far ekwb has nothing confirmed:

Just seen this but on EK website it says:
  • This block is made for reference PCB 3080 and 3090 cards. Founders Edition does NOT have a reference PCB.
Really confused on what is actually a reference card this time? The Founders are the only ones on the Nvidia site and the AIB's all seem to be different sizes?

I dfid wonder as I had seen somewhere that all the AIB cards out on first day will be "reference boards"

Sizes vary because of cooling size

A listing has just gone up on their site.
Just had a look, we need the configurator to see what card this fits if the founders edition is not it.

Maybe this confirms what someone said before that Nvidia doesn't want their coolers taken off this time round, possibly something to do with the 12pin design and its placement maybe? I'm starting to think maybe this rings true.

Managed to get into the configurator and found the card but nothing else is listed in the compatibility drop down: Same goes for the 3070 and 3090

Found this image - the 3080 FE is seemingly a 'normal' size. Seems almost 20mm longer and have ever so slightly less height than the 2080 founders edition.
