My founder edition 5700 xt have died, so I've RMA the card and they couldn't fix it. They says will give me this card instead “GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER GAMING X TRIO” is this a good idea?

The 2070 Super is generally slightly faster than the 5700 XT, plus it has more features such as ray tracing and DLSS support. Very good deal IMO. The Trio is also MSI's top of the line model.

Overall the 2070 Super is a faster card, there are some titles where the 5700XT is a bit faster but if you average everything, the 2070 Super is faster. It also costs more. So overall, very good deal for you.

If you have no issues with it fitting into your case then go for it! (it's a large card)

thanks, guys, I'll take their offer.
i have an NZXT H510 Elite case, should fit no problem i think.

I'd be tempted to ask if I could pay the difference and upgrade to a 3070.

Assuming you're not desperate for a card and can wait for awhile.

It's a good deal regardless.

Yeah go for it!! It's a really good deal. Better card, more features, more future proof.

+1, that's really the optimal result although I guess they'd prefer to get rid of the 2070S stock.
