Wonder if they are also placeholders or just initial conservative estimates.
Placeholders I would have thought. There's a lot of "TBC Mhz" shown about the place which makes me think they'll update before they're available.

Is there a video with the old spanish guy?
Interesting tweets by Hardware Unboxed today. I’ll be waiting for the reviews before I decide whether to buy a 3080 as I just don’t trust Nvidia’s likely cherrypicked figures. Stumping up 650 without some independent analysis would be bonkers
If the framerates are so high with RTX on, I wonder what they're like with RTX off?
That guys laugh is class lol.
Not sure I care about RT though...
Unless there are SEVERE Ampere stock shortages that make them impossible to get hold for weeks of then the 2x00 series will only drop in value as time goes on, but clearly the cheaper the card in the first place then the lower the impact. Anyone with half a brain sold them weeks ago.same goes for people thinking of selling their rtx2000 cards for cheap right now. Just waist for reviews and prices because right now you're basing your value on Nvidias cherry picking and there a very high chance the cards are not as fast as Nvidia claims

Thank god. Think I'll go for a 3080 now at some point as I'd love to start working out my 77'' CX's 120hz mode at 4k.
I'll be selling my Zotac 2080 in the members market soon. Any reccomended fair prices to set it at?

I'd happily buy a 1080ti for the right price.
Probably £200 ish.
Really?
interesting to know ... i wonder what asus are doing to the rog strix thenYeah so far but its early days yet. Not all of the overclocked AIB have given out their overclocks yet but that would imply if they all stay this low that the 3080 are about at their limits as standard and there will be very very little to be gained from an all singing all dancing AIB super board.

Did they test with lower resolutions etc to see if they get different results?re 1) Yes, because it doesn't go over the limit too hard & it has enough bandwidth to compensate. Remember, there's a big difference between going 0.5-1GB over the limit, and going 2 GB or more over the limit. The more you have to tax the storage & RAM, the worse the experience will then be. It's not an on/off situation where it's either a complete mess or perfect. There's steps in between.
Plus, the 1% lows aren't enough, you really need a frametime graph ideally. Like how computerbase does it.

See what I mean? The problem is when the swap happens, not for 100% of the time. So you'll definitely notice it during gameplay, but it might not appear as severely in 1% lows and the like (or averages for that matter).
2) Okay?

£300?
