What warranty do founders cards generally come with?
Yea after reading that article, still not sure if it would work on your NAS. Will be interesting to see how it works in the end. But we probably won’t get to test it for another 9-12 month’s.Still need a NVMe(I think)

My current plan is to stick in a pre-order direct with nvidia as soon as the pre-order page is up for the 3080 fe and if after reading the reviews the cooler turns out to be no good, I will quickly cancel it and just order a Zotac 3080 from OcUK.
I wonder if nvidia will get the pre order page up earlier than the 17th and dispatch cards so we have them on 17th. Unlikely, but I am kind of itching to get my hands on one.
No biggie, if I don’t like the review I will either not accept delivery or return it unopened. But I doubt it will come to that.I think NV MAY have some ready to ship.
So be careful.
it's only digital river... WcgwNo biggie, if I don’t like the review I will either not accept delivery or return it unopened. But I doubt it will come to that.
The only thing for most will be the fan stop. The FE is highly likely to have its fans running 24/7. All be it pretty slow at idle. Had the same issue with my 2080Ti FE.
Not something that will bother me now though as my pc is miles away now and can’t even hear it under full load but I imagine could be a little off putting for those with pcs in very close proximity.
Still yes very interested to see the temp differences. Who knows could outperform the AIB cards as they do look very well built.
How amusingly quaint and old fashioned. Are you simply assuming that all people who pay with credit can't afford the item they are paying for? Low or no interest credit actually makes more financial sense for higher value items than paying it all out in one go.
I never done this before as i always had the cash to buy one outright or have saved up for one
But it is an option am thinking about so i don't dent the savings in my bank account
d) They take out finance, then when their graphics cards value tanks they make threads here stating they are unwell due to this.Still makes mewhy people are mocking the 2080Ti owners, who have supposedly just lost money or whatever.
It's not like their card has just turned so crap. The FPS is still the top you can get right now.
The people who bought the 2080Ti are likely playing at 1440p or some higher ultrawide res.
If you don't own a 2080Ti, you don't have high FPS in 1440p or are not running 1440p Ultrawide, or even 4k.
If you are, then you're going to be running low fps, surely.
The reason people fork out for the 2080Ti is because, a) they can afford it, b) they want to have the highest fps that is available to them c) are willing to pay the cost associated with it.
I don't believe people think or care about the resale cost of their card.
The other thing, to the owners of 3080+ cards, you're going to be on PC.... majority of time you'll be connected to a monitor - so unless you're running a 4k/120hz or faster screen, you're not going to be getting the best out of it... and in that case, the 2080Ti owners have had that amazing performance in this res for the last 2 years. That's what the 2080Ti owners have paid for.
I hate putting big money into mobiles phone as you could drop it an hour or day later and smash itas soon as kids hit 18, they're signing up for £60pm mobile phone contracts just so they can have the latest shiny iPhone?
I remember a while back there was a company that you can send your phone to and they would immerse it in a certain stuff, making it waterproof. Don't know if they still do it or not but at the price of some expensive phones they should be like that already, and have tough screen protectors.I hate putting big money into mobiles phone as you could drop it an hour or day later and smash it
The amount of people i see with cracked screens on there high priced mobile phones is just nuts
I'm not sure it's a "no brainer" or we'd all be doing itSome of us prefer to earn the money before we spend it.

End of the day if a, b, c are the only outcomes then why would they be bothered by the mocking, they will just go buy a 3090![]()
I think the problem is that we are explaining this to people without assets, many probably quite young, who do not invest or use saved money to generate income and probably have a far more short-term outlook as to their finances. For those people, credit is something to be uncertain about or feared even if it has no interest, and they probably see the sole reason forsomeone getting credit as buying something you can't afford. Their outlook will likely change over time.I don't work, I generate income from assets, my income is lumpy but its easily planned for if I have steady outgoings, I also put extra money in to savings each month and don't like to take from there to cover one off expenditures if I can possibly avoid it. I could easily pay for it from savings but that actually impacts my income, but interest free credit doesn't. I've earnt the money several times over but it serves me better staying where it is.
My point was, for me interest free credit works, but the person I was responding to said I should "take a good look at myself". Well I have and interest free credit makes good sense for my lifestyle, ta!
For me its a no brainer, I didn't say it was for everyone.
You never come across hobib ali’s threads? They come out like clockwork every time a new gen of nvidia GPU’s are releasedI've not seen these threads of people feeling actual unwell from the price drop?
I don't see their mentality either. Their card hasn't started performing badly all of a sudden. Yes, they may not be able to afford the most highest performing GPU, that's not even out yet - but they're games are still going to looking frikkin' amazing.
Also, people can get bothered by mocking even if it's not that bad of a mock, but repetitive. (not me, i'm not bothered, but I feel for others).
Still makes mewhy people are mocking the 2080Ti owners, who have supposedly just lost money or whatever.
