My mate Del is getting 4, 2 is not enough he reckons. Something about the more you buy the more you save.Might as well buy a 3090. I'm buying 2.
I feel they gave no real upgrade option for 1080ti ownersSticking with my 1080Ti for now.

How is the 3080 not a viable upgrade from a 1080Ti? Roughly 80% faster from initial benchmarks and, if you can get around £200 for the old card, a £450 upgrade.
That said I'm on the fence right now whether to upgrade mine to a 3080 or sit tight for a while and hope for a Ti/Super/16GB/20GB model.
I would never class buying a GPU with less Vram equals an Upgrade3080 is an upgrade

Well i guess some people are just pleased to upgrade to less then they had before..Ridiculously over-simplistic.
If the card is 80% faster overally and the 1GB reduction in VRAM ends up making no difference in any actual game then it's a significant upgrade.
Your argument is like saying a Ferrari isn't an upgrade to a Audi TT because it has a smaller glovebox.
Do it. Good for the economy. Loloh in that case I might just have to buy 8, 2 for each system.
