So drivers are supposed to realise that a light says an 'X' and not 'SC' sitting on the outside of a 5g right corner, pretty poor tbh, although the guys in the garage should have been on the ball which they clearly were not.

Its because this is the Sky F1 Lewis Hamilton Channel it seems - as you say everyone else managed it (except Giovinazzi)

Well Hamilton was leading the race. The key question is were pit lane closed notifications in place before Lewis committed to entering the pit lane?

Could be fun seeing Lewis try to get a point or two after serving the stop/go.

Yes - they said it was shown at Parabolica; you don't need to commit to entering the pit until after that once you come onto the straight

Wow, pleased that Charles has walked away from that it looked very heavy on the first transmission.

I think the penalty is undisputable unfortunately. It's going to make for an interesting second half to this race but the only indication being on the outside of parabolica doesn't seem like the best placement for safety reasons to me.
