NVIDIA ‘Ampere’ 8nm Graphics Cards

I think the blue tab is someone's interpretation and they are making the same mistake everyone did with Ampere, look at the block diagram, its 8X 20 = 160, look at the shaders, they are dual CU, just like Ampere.

But by the same measurement didn't a slide for the Xbox show 26 dual CU to come up with the 52 figure?

No, saw that. Do you think it's genuine? 160 CU, 24GB but only 6MB L2? That would be well over 300W?

I think it 'could' be a genuine GPU, whether we will see a gaming GPU of that size? i don't know.

Its not far fetched, in this configuration it has 10240 Shaders, the 2080TI has 4352 Shaders, the rumour was the 3080 had the same 4352 Shaders, and yet with its dual shaders it actually has 8704 Shaders. (which is X2)

In that sense its completely believable. What i struggle with is the XBox Series X is around 2080 Super performance with the same 26 Dual CU, or (3328 Shaders) so a 10240 Shader big Navi would be an absolute monster, 3X a 2080 Super, maybe more...

So I take it all the posters, who said they were going to buy consoles if the price was too high, will be getting a 3080?

I'm also amazed at the uturn people are doing on the FE design, it seems a now well loved design and the AIB's are crude/horrid?
Probably something to do with the FE's being cheaper for a change:D

Guess it was to be expected:rolleyes:

Out of curiosity, does anyone know when the review embargo lifts on the 30 series?

I want to see the real performance figures so that I can evaluate my next GPU purchasing decision :D

You skilfully avoided my question :p. How many Watts?

I remember a while back there was a company that you can send your phone to and they would immerse it in a certain stuff, making it waterproof. Don't know if they still do it or not but at the price of some expensive phones they should be like that already, and have tough screen protectors.

Far as I know the past 2 or 3 samsung flahships have been waterproof. Not brave enough to test it though!
