Question is, how low is that 3080 clocked if the 2080 Ti beats it? Clearly not an issue of CPU bottleneck, not in AotS and not at freaking 8X fps.

Seems to be some fake images turning up so may as well wait for next week's reviews...as fun as all the speculation is!

CPU bottleneck will always be relative - higher framerate numbers doesn't mean it isn't CPU limited versus something else. I've not played around with AotS escalation but I'm pretty sure that benchmark scales significantly with number of CPU cores/threads and those are not stock 2000 series numbers.

So, my card sold tonight for £350, it’s a brand new 2070 Super so a little disappointed with that. Buyer has a feedback of 2 so hoping they don’t pay. Probably could have got that on Facebook and not pay £35 fees plus PayPal fees. That leaves me about £300. Disappointed

Gigabyte's Gaming OC does I believe, going by the photos... One of the few cards I noticed with the extra output. Most others seems to have 3 DP and 1 HDMI as standard.

The ad is cheesy nonsense (I’d imagine because they are not allowed to market anything real or any data yet) but bashing it because of the race/gender of the actors in it..... Why did you notice and why do you care?

Used to happen all the time - I bought a 7950GX2 in June 2006 - the 8800GTX came out 5 months later and smoked it at the same price or just over a year later an 8800GT gave similar or better performance at half the price.

Wait a minute, I thought Jensen Digital Foundry said the 3080 was 2X the performance of a 2080? It's not even 2X the 2070 here. I think real reviews are needed before any upgrade decisions are made. I'm not parting with any cash based on Nvidia marketing

It is digital so use an reasonably cheap non active adapter, some cards may even come with one or two
