NVIDIA ‘Ampere’ 8nm Graphics Cards

what did you think you would get 2080ti's are going for 500 quid on ebay so 300 for a 2070 is about right a couple more weeks when the new cards come out the market will be flooded with cards you might not even get that.

More than £300 after fees. Look at how much they’ve gone for recently, I’ll help:

£380
£485
£430
£400
£480
£410

Ok some of them were before the announcement but some were also after. And the recent sales above are just for my specific card.

I think someone else also said theirs went for £390 on Facebook. So, respectfully, I would expect around the £400 mark for a brand new card. But obviously there was one person who was gonna say I was lucky to get that

Now my Odyssey G7 (my above wrong thread post was for the G7/9 thread) has been returned I may not bother with a 3000 series, got a major backlog of older games to start playing.

Yeah me, sold my 2070S at the weekend for £390 locally on FB marketplace. And the lad knew all about the 30 series too, was talking to me about them when he collected. Clearly he thought it wasn’t a bad deal still. :)

I knew I’d take a hit on it, but £150 less just surprised me. He hasn’t paid yet so time will tell

You have a 3080 and tested it?

Yea decided i wanted more so moved all the sliders to the right. After 2 minutes running Firestrike extreme i thought the human torch was in the room. Next minute my black case turned into an inferno and i had to vacate my family from the house. Fire brigade turned up 10 minutes later but nothing they could do bar get everyone out of my street. They said the radiation levels were off the chart. Glad i only went 3080 and not 3090 as i doubt my town would still be on the map.

They can call it the Red Devil edition :p

Tsar Edition more like it from my bench marking.

Sounds like a cool new brand! Which AIB would it fit best though?

Damn so expensive though. I just needed it as a convienant port to plug into my AVR for the audio. I could just make-do with display port but sourcing a good adaptor is tough. Might wait to see if we get any price drops on these models. Hmm....... Wish there was a cheaper GPU which has this elusive extra port.
