Not surprised the YouTube reviewers get bin 2 samples, the best of the bunch to try and showcase it a bit more, so don't take any notice of overclocks what YouTubers are getting.

My Gigabyte 2080ti OC which is their cheapest 2080ti overclocks really well but its on a custom loop. The cooler is dog poop which is why its cheap. 2150MHz on the core and perfectly stable. Been a great card.

When I'm in VR, I'm wearing headphones, so I just want to know if the card can stay cool when the fans are maxed.

When I'm not in VR, I'm on a 1080p ultrawide. The GPU probably won't even break a sweat then.

Did you buy that from release?
Max I can get out of this 1080ti is 2025 but soon drops to 2000 when temp rises a little, it is on air though.
Interestingly it will only clock up to that when maxing out the voltage and power sliders in afterburner, if I just changed the clocks alone it crashes, so it's defo on the edge this one lol.

But that just goes to show not always the best Idea to purchase the most expensive and I won't be doing it again.

Yep it needs it by the look of it, there's no way I'd mount that horizontally without a support, although looking at the extra bracket it looks like some kind of extra support, these cards are way over spec for the pcie slot lol.
