** NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES NOW ONLINE AT OVERCLOCKERS UK (3090 / 3080 / 3070) **

sorry I just get frustrated when people start banging on about the fan underneath pumping hot air onto the cpu when using an FE board yet just totally ignore the fact all the AIB boards have the same fan pushing the same hot air in the same location but in addition they have two more fans all pushing even more hot air towards the cpu.

why is it you and others can5 see that? Or am I being thick and missing something that all the AIB cards are blowers?
Those fans on the AIB are not pointing directly towards the CPU. The FE will literally direct all the warm air towards your CPU cooler

These crazy price hikes are ridiculous.

I am new to buying gpus early in the cycle, never thought it could be this tense :D
These prices increases seem to be the normal these days :(
I be amazed if they don't go up a lot further then what they are...

I would hate to think what the price hikes would be if there was no FE version :eek::eek:

.
How? The boards are all roughly the same length as the FE and all of the aib boards have the 3rd fan blowing straight through colling pipes and heat fines through the holes in the back boards and stright at the cpu again they all look like they are doing the same tbing

Nope, the fe is dumping air out of the case as well as putting some into it. An axial fan setup dumps all the heat into the case. Though the amount of heat is overblown, its been tested with other cards and the difference is around 5c or so with a blower fan vs triple axial.

So lads, what companies allow you fit water cooling to their GPUs without voiding warranty?
I think EVGA do, if I remember correctly...?
Any others?

Agree. What was nvidia thinking on the connector right in the middle? It's like there were in a hurry to get the shroud done and couldn't be bothered. I would wait for them to fix that before I would buy. It couldn't be that much hardship to move it over to the right like normal? Lazy greed I guess
Forgot you design PCBs for a living. Why don't you drop them an email on how to revise their design and the whole manufacturing process around it. Surely it's just as easy as 'move it there' :p

Ah, fair enough. I've not seen one of those on a GPU in years, I just assumed they'd done away with them. I guess some brands still use them.

Don't block companies like EK have videos on how to disassemble each of the cards? that should give an indication of any security markings.

Yeah. If I wanted to use a water block, I'd just check reviews and/or guides and buy a GPU that doesn't have security markings.

Hi there,

Have you ordered from NVIDIA website in the past? I have one concern, address on my card will be different to the one where i live now, therefore shipping address will not be the same as address linked to the card, is NVIDIA going to block/decline the transaction in this scenario?

Many thanks

Since I don't know your location just try it now with any product and go through the checkout process up until paying. Most places allow you to ship to a different address than the cardholder, don't they?

What's with the underlining?
