Lowest 2080ti price - £350

Yea i know what you mean, i guess we can only go on our own experiences :)

Ive been trying to sell my comic book collection these past two weeks to pay for a new PC build. Guess what happened? Yep, scammer tried the exact same trick, wanted his mate to pick it up and pay via paypal.

That was via a facebook comic book group too, not ebay.

Luckily as I said earlier Im wise to it so didnt work or I wouldnt be looking at PC ugrades :)

From shader count alone 3070 is better than 2080ti. And thats not even taking into account the architectural enhancements of ampere.
3070 will be faster.
I wouldn't pay much attention to the shader count as the 3080 has double the shaders of the 2080ti yet all the benchmarks only point to 25% more performance and that is with a 30% increase in power.

The 3070 only has 35% more and runs on less power than a 2080ti so I doubt it will be faster.

So if you are not checking how have you come to the conclusion that prices are rising £30-£50 daily? That's a bit odd to say the least.

The Zotac was £649 on 02/09 and should be, by a conservative £30pd increase, over a grand now. It is not, it is £649

You are right. My English is bad. I mean to say that each day one or more cards is going up by 30 - 50.

I'm guessing it will be around £750 come launch day.
I agree with this, if it arrives in time.

Reviews are delayed by 2 days, until 16th.

The story is this is because reviewers gpu's are delayed by customs so they need more time.

A cynic would suspect less time to read reviews before first issue sell out.

Had a quick look through the link you gave and the PDF dump of that page I made on 02/09 and cannot see what has changed
The gigabyte gaming OC is up by around £80 and both palit cards have increased aswell by around £70 and £50.
Hasn't been updated on that page but if you click the gpu links you will see the updated pricing.

Can't wait till when the lack of supply/ high demand hits the new cards and the prices get pushed up and up and then benchmarks come out and these cards are not the jump people where hoping for.

But some will pay the inflated pricing anyway but then clown on 2080ti owners.

Edit: ohh the price increasing is already happening lmao

Just dropped in a 2080 Ti (£430 after putting in fresh pads for the stock cooler, was previously watercooled by owner) into my system connected to the TV. Hopefully able to push decent framerates at 4K.

Haven't overclocked it yet as I need to make sure the card is working fine first. The 5700 XT above is heavily overclocked (for a 1440p system). The +33% will likely be more like +50% once overclocked. Will be interesting to see if the gap is wider with Timespy Extreme.

I reckon I made the right choice not waiting for the 3070 and whatever AMD end up releasing.

Nice. I think I saw that one on the bay?

Good catch imo

Was £460 including an NZXT AIO setup. Sold the AIO setup for £50 after delivery and fees and then needed to buy some pads for £20.

Last week I sold the 5700XT in the system for £255 after fees and delivery. So it's a net £175 cost but should push 4K without massive resolution scaling (70%).

Very nice. I paid £490 for a palit 2080 TI and am quite happy with that. I've sold a couple of older cards for around £100 each at a small profit and as mentioned, will be happy to get £400 back in a few months. I suspect 2080Ti's will go back to £600 in the short term when 3000's sell out.

Don't think it will go back above £500. AMDs new card is also supposedly a 2080 Ti beater and will be $599 (~£550) sitting between the 3070 and 3080.
