Lowest 2080ti price - £350

Once stock is in place...and you can readily buy a 3070 for £499....seriously who will buy a used 2080ti at £500 On members market?

All of you with 2080ti face facts....your card is dead tech... :p

Someone will believe me, they will say, yeah but 11gb innit bruv :p:D

You really think that someone will buy a 2080ti over a 3080 because it’s got 1gb more ram? :p

Everyone is also forgetting RTX performance in the new cards...

Funny, I thought you were talking about the 3070.. Oh that's right you were

Are you a 2080Ti owner sir? :p

Nope I'm still on pascal.

I would also point to the lack of RTX showcasing by nvidia that it's not going to be as good as you think. Instead they chose to show games like doom which have no RT/DLSS.

Leaks are showing the 3080 is only 19% faster than a 2080ti in raytracing which is even less than rasterisation.

It’s all about performance per dollar....

People keep saying it’s only 19% faster than a £1200 2080ti...

What you have to remember is the 3080 is only £649 For a FE...

You are wasting your time mate. Let him do what he wants while we enjoy a 3080 FE which is a better GPU than the 2080Ti for half the price people were paying until recently :D

HF playing cyberpunk with your RX580 while your waiting for the FE stock to arrive. :p

thought you were firmly going for the 3070.... price too good on the 3080 ;)

I have to admit, Ampere is much better priced than I thought and I honestly believed the 3070 would be a £500 card whilst the 3080 would be closer to £700. it's so tempting but I don't NEED the 3080, IF the 3070 matches the Ti give or take 5% either way I might just bite for the 3070 and wait for the inevitable Ti... but I have about 6 games I want to play now at 4k and my spare GTX 670 just won't cut it :p

My thought is £180 gets you a lot more performance and with a bunch of games coming out that I want to play this gen, I can justify the extra. Cyberpunk 2077 in particular :D

Ti will cost too much. More ram and 10% or so performance for 40 or 50% more money.

They might release the ti at the 3080 price point and drop the 3080 down like they did with the gtx 1080 especially if AMD drops a better card than the 3080 at a similar price.

Maybe, but very unlikely. Either way, I skipped turding and now I will end up with getting a better gpu for half the price :D

I'm chomping at the bit for a new shiny 3080....Winter incoming, decided to miss the 2000 series and sold on my 1080ti...

Now its time for a good boost for £649 :D

Just hope I can bag one from Nvidia on release day...

If the benches are good for the 3070/3080, might pick an used 208ti for the boy if the price drops towards £350, which they should.
Someone will be along shortly to tell us that won't happen and actually they may shoot up to £600. So best but one now at £500. Lol.

Owning a 2080ti is like owning a house in negative equity. It's only a loss if you need to sell. No ti owner has to sell, if they do they need to accept the real value. There are only so many mugs on the bay.
