Putting together a gaming PC myself for the first time, I know a little about parts but not enough to know about any changes to make. I've come to this build within my budget, but I'm wondering if there's anything worth swapping out for cheaper/similar price which would be better? Thanks.

To insert an image it's the option next to the smiley face

Here is, what is in my mind, the critical question. Can you wait a month or so? I ask, because next gen Ryzen CPU's will be revealed on the 8th October and are expected to be released for sale shortly after. This will push down the price of the Ryzen 3000 processors making them more accessible to your budget. This will give you a nice performance boost for roughly the same cost, just by waiting a month or so.

Definitely! I'm going to be getting parts as and when I can over the next few months anyway so that is perfect. Thanks for the advice!

I would look at either a 3600 or 3600XT once the new CPU’s are available. Motherboard also probably worth investing more into for something like this:

It might be worth looking at a used GPU, there are a lot of RTX 20 series cards being sold now.
