OcUK Ampere RTX3000 series review thread

He is a joke, still burt hurt after AMD ****** him off.
I found it alright to be honest and do find his reviews annoying sometimes. Different way of viewing the performance improvements. He's an entertainer. Made me think that many are unimpressed as 3080 didn't meet the hype but without the hype, people would be overjoyed with the performance I think.

So the hype a bit of a joke but stellar cards nonetheless.

He's an NV shill with a grudge, and I find him irritating not entertaining, but that's a taste thing I guess. The cards look good but I think everyone knew NV were stretching the truth about performace and it's been proven. Looks likeeveryone who can't gat a FE is going to get gouged so the prices maybe not as good as some were hoping either.

I'm probably the only one thinking this but being fairly out of the loop on GPUs I'm a bit... Disappointed. Sure it blows the 2080ti out of the water and my 1070ti is basically punch card computing in comparison, but yet... The 3080 can't hit 144fps at 1440p in many or any games, some a couple of years old, from my skim of the Hexus review. For some reason I thought it would.

(Seems to do better in the guru 3D reviews though)

Going forward it looks like Nvidia will have to work on reducing power draw for the refresh of these 30 series cards, whether that be Ti variants or a later set of 40 series cards

No it is open air/bench same as any test, if you watch the review he did not give it a glowing review.

If its an open air bench of course its going to stay cool. Somehow or other that won't come into the equation when it comes to AMD though.

He tries his best to hide how much hate towards amd but you can see right through him.
Clearly has a dislike.

Its not hate I don't really think he really cares one way or the other its just that he knows which side his bread is buttered and its laid on thick by Nvidia.

This gen is the first time I've genuinely liked the FE cooler. I'll feel no guilt about buying FE in that regard, if it turns out to be my decision.

Seems we have a 2nd parrot on the forum who loves to repeat, did you hear the reason for the open bench?

Do you think he will test the AMD in a shoebox?

What if any reviewer tested a card (any card) in X Case and you buy based on that review and it runs hotter in your Y Case, I bet you would cry even more than you are doing right now.
