OcUK Ampere RTX3000 series review thread

Now then...

I've been hell bent on not getting this until I upgrade my whole rig to the next Ryzen/Intel with DDR5 and PCIE 4.0 but seeing the performance, as always, I have the itch.

Would ya? See my rig in my sig. What are you guys doing?

Forget NVidias marketing claims, it is all about what the 3080 and its performance can do for you.

Is it worth the money, for a lot of people yes.
Man for me its 2x more power in 4k than what I got atm. Cant wait to have play with it !!!

Bit of an analysis.

Percentage increase in performance of 3080 over 2080Ti at 4K. Non-RTX figures. 4 major reviewers with large sample size, all use 2080Ti FE.

On average all fall 32-33% on average.

The most telling one for me was the gamers nexus review that showed the overclocked results which was much closer as these new cards don't overclock well at all.

I really don't want to upgrade but I game at 4K so it kind of just makes sense.
I used NVIDIA sharpen today and a game filter.. god how easy it is.

I also don't think AMD have 3D-film support right? I can still 'hack it' on with NVIDIA cards.
